Fit tip: kids' styles run small, so size up. Leave a thumb's width of room in front of the longest toe — that is roughly half an inch, and it is what keeps a growing foot comfortable through a season.

How to Measure Your Foot at Home

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, wearing the socks you plan to pair with the shoes.
Hold a pencil straight up and mark the tip of your longest toe. Measure from the wall edge to that mark.
Measure both feet in the afternoon or evening, when feet are at their largest, and keep the bigger number.
Take that length in inches to the Heel-to-Toe column, then confirm width and girth before ordering.

Fit Notes

Between two sizes? Go with the larger one. A little extra room is easy to live with, a tight shoe never is.
Cork footbed sandals and slides start snug by design and mold to your foot after a few wears. When in doubt, take the half size up.
Adjustable-strap sandals can run large. Sit between sizes on one of those and the smaller size plus a tighter buckle is the better fit.
Men's footbed styles run large — sizing down one full size is the safer call.
Kids' clogs and sandals run small. Size up, and remember the kids' range ends at 5 Big Kid.
