Footwear Size Guide

Every number below is in inches and comes straight from the maker's own charts. Match your foot length first, then check width and girth before you commit to a size.

Women Women – Wide Men Kids

Standard width. This is the scale used for most women's sandals, slides, flats, sneakers and boots.

US Size	UK	EU	Heel-to-Toe (in)	Foot Width (in)	Foot Girth (in)
5	3	36	9.3	3.7	8.6
5.5	3.5	36.5	9.5	3.7	8.8
6	4	37	9.7	3.8	9.0
6.5	4.5	37.5	9.9	3.9	9.2
7	5	38	10.0	3.9	9.3
7.5	5.5	38.5	10.2	3.9	9.4
8	6	39	10.3	3.9	9.5
8.5	6.5	39.5	10.5	4.0	9.5
9	7	40	10.6	4.0	9.6
9.5	7.5	40.5	10.7	4.1	9.7
10	8	41	10.8	4.1	9.8
11	9	42	11.0	4.1	9.9
12	10	43	11.3	4.2	10.1
13	11	44	11.5	4.2	10.3

Fit tip: the cork footbed family is cut close on purpose and tends to run small. If your length lands on the line, take the half size up. Where a style is between sizes, the full size up is the comfortable choice.

Wide width uses the same lengths as standard, with extra room across the ball and the instep. Choose Wide if your foot width measures wider than the standard column at your length.

MediumThe standard width, built on the regular women's scale.

WideRoughly 0.1 in more width and girth at the same foot length.

12 Wide	10	43	11.2	4.3	10.2

Fit tip: if you normally sit between Wide and Medium, take Wide on closed styles and Medium on open sandals with adjustable straps — the buckle will do the rest.

Men's styles, US 8 through 13. Length runs close to the women's scale, but the girth is cut roomier across the whole range.

US Size	UK	EU	AU	JP (cm)	Heel-to-Toe (in)	Foot Girth (in)
8	6	38.5	8	24	10.8	10.3
8.5	6.5	39	8.5	24.5	11.1	10.5
9	7	39.5	9	25	11.1	10.5
9.5	7.5	40	9.5	25.5	11.5	10.7
10	8	40.5	10	26	11.5	10.7
10.5	8.5	41	10.5	26.5	11.8	10.8
11	9	41.5	11	28	11.8	10.8
12	11.5	45	12	30	12.1	11.0
13	10.5	45	13	30	12.5	11.2

Fit tip: men's footbed slides are cut generously and usually run large, so sizing down a full size is the safe move. The maker publishes the top two sizes with the same EU figure and an uneven UK figure — trust the heel-to-toe length column on those two rows and ignore the label.

Kids' clogs and sandals, from 11 Little Kid through 5 Big Kid. The kids' range stops at 5 Big Kid — the next step up is a women's size 6.

US Size	UK	EU	Heel-to-Toe (in)	Foot Width (in)	Foot Girth (in)
11 Little Kid	10.5	29	7.9	3.3	7.9
12 Little Kid	11.5	30	8.2	3.4	8.1
13 Little Kid	12.5	31	8.5	3.5	8.3
1 Big Kid	13.5	32.5	8.7	3.5	8.4
2 Big Kid	1.5	33.5	9.0	3.6	8.6
3 Big Kid	2.5	35	9.2	3.6	8.8
4 Big Kid	3.5	36	9.5	3.7	9.0
5 Big Kid	4.5	37	9.7	3.7	9.2

Fit tip: kids' styles run small, so size up. Leave a thumb's width of room in front of the longest toe — that is roughly half an inch, and it is what keeps a growing foot comfortable through a season.

How to Measure Your Foot at Home

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, wearing the socks you plan to pair with the shoes.
Hold a pencil straight up and mark the tip of your longest toe. Measure from the wall edge to that mark.
Measure both feet in the afternoon or evening, when feet are at their largest, and keep the bigger number.
Take that length in inches to the Heel-to-Toe column, then confirm width and girth before ordering.

Fit Notes

Between two sizes? Go with the larger one. A little extra room is easy to live with, a tight shoe never is.
Cork footbed sandals and slides start snug by design and mold to your foot after a few wears. When in doubt, take the half size up.
Adjustable-strap sandals can run large. Sit between sizes on one of those and the smaller size plus a tighter buckle is the better fit.
Men's footbed styles run large — sizing down one full size is the safer call.
Kids' clogs and sandals run small. Size up, and remember the kids' range ends at 5 Big Kid.
Boots and lined sneakers can feel tight on day one. If you wear thick socks with them, size up.
Width: most women's styles come in Medium and Wide. Wide adds about 0.1 in of width and girth at the same foot length.

Measurements are taken from the maker's published size charts and are given in inches. Fit varies slightly with style, material and lining, so treat this guide as a confident starting point rather than an absolute guarantee. Where your measurement sits between two sizes, always size up.
